I’ve always loved creating statement pendants that combine antique elements with bold gemstones.

Many of you might remember the large opal pendant I made in an antique photo frame setting — it was such a special piece and quickly found its forever home. Since that design was loved by so many, I wanted to revisit the idea, but this time with a different character

For this piece, I kept the antique photo frame style but added delicate filigree in a soft monogram-inspired pattern to give it an elegant, vintage feel. When it came to choosing the stone, citrine felt perfect — the warm orange-gold tones complement the yellow gold beautifully and give the pendant a rich, glowing presence.

This is the kind of jewellery that feels like it belongs to another era, yet still looks completely at home today — timeless, elegant, and full of personality.
What I love most is the colour of the citrine… a vivid orange glow, like capturing a little pool of sunshine and holding it in gold.
