Vintage Natural Solid Australian Boulder Opal Pendant In 10ct Yellow Gold

I am struggling to capture the true beauty of this opal in photos! The colours are so deep and mesmerising, almost as though there are layers upon layers of colour beneath the surface. Every time I turn it just a little, I discover something new!

This is a genuine Australian Boulder Opal, featuring its characteristic ironstone backing and a beautiful display of colour across the top.

And the colours? Absolutely fascinating to me! They’re such an unusual combination compared with what I usually see in opals, which makes this piece all the more special.
